This weekend has been special. My soul still carries the inner glow of all the warmth and cheer shared with family and friends. A Turkish dinner party with the neighbours, a sweet 30th birthday party with my lady friends and a cheese and wine birthday party with the family – yes, this weekend has been socially exhausting for the body but refreshingly revitalizing for the soul.
Entertainment styles and food displays in general can always vary depending on the personality of the host and the occasion, but isn’t being together and sharing closeness what a good party is really all about?
And what a better way of making simple food entertainment great, than offering an unsophisticated flavour rich combination of soft and juicy grapes, dry and salty cheese, soft and mellow brie, crisp-crust French baguettes and deep and spicy red Australian shiraz?
